Medicaid Eligibility System

ISG developed a comprehensive solution to provide Medicaid eligibility data to MDCH trading partners through multiple access methods. These methods include integration with Blue Cross, Blue Shield Michigan eligibility data through a web portal, batch flat files to intermediate school districts, HIPAA 270/271 transaction, and an interactive query web application. This system helps the state of Michigan scale back costs from eligibility vendor expenses and allows most Michigan providers a free, web-based eligibility determination service. This system currently processes over a million transactions each month.
